Experience Rarotonga – Getting Involved With Events In the Cook Islands!

Experience Rarotonga and our associated businesses enjoy getting involved in local events – often sponsoring and always supporting.

Here are a few of the events we’ve had the pleasure of supporting recently:

Cook Islands SPCA / Vet Care

As a small island community, The Cook Islands have limited resources and funding in some areas compared to large cities in large countries. We are proud supporters of the veterinary service provided and have donated $100 to this cause in April 2018 – we hope others will do the same to enable this valuable resource to continue to help Cook Islanders care for pets.

Apii Te Uki Ou School Fundraiser

In November 2017 Experience Rarotonga contributed $150 to the bi-annual fundraiser put on by the Apii Te Uki Ou School. This school has a 20+ year history in the Muri Beach area and proactively work to raise funds for resources to improve the educational facilities for the children in the area. Growing up in Rarotonga is a fabulous experience for children – the relaxed attitude and relative safety of the Island environment develops well balanced young people – we are happy and proud to contribute to your growth and learning.

Cook Islands Under 21 Netball Team Barbados Trip

In June 2017 the Cook Islands Under 21s Netball Team had an awesome Quiz Night Fundraiser to raise funds for their upcoming Barbados Trip. Experience Rarotonga purchased and donated back two $150 tickets to the event.

Great work team! Go and fly our flag with pride – prove to the world that small nations have huge talent!

We are pleased and proud to support you.

Big Bang Wellington 2014 Tickets Donated by Experience Rarotonga

The Big Bang Festival was opened in February 2014 in Wellington, New Zealand. Jennie was overjoyed to donate $500 toward costs for two Cook Island Residents to be among the crowd for this incredible event (over 100,000 tickets were sold – it was HUGE!).

We know Cook Islanders love a colourful festival – we have a few amazing times ourselves, but this spectacular event was just not to be missed and we are delighted to have made this possible.
