The Cooks Oasis is a boutique resort located on the sunset side of the main island of Rarotonga, on the beach side of the road and less than 15-minute drive away from the airport and main town of Avarua.
This is the sunny, sheltered side of the island where you are just 60 steps from your villa to the white sandy beach and turquoise lagoon, perfect for swimming, sunbathing, relaxing and maybe watching the whales cruise by. For some family fun, try out our complimentary kayaks and snorkel gear in the lagoon and view the magnificent array of tropical fish. Later in the day, the beach is a perfect spot to watch a beautiful Rarotongan sunset.
Feel at home in one of our nine recently upgraded self-catered villas, ranging from studio to one and two-bedrooms, all nestled into beautiful tropical gardens. We offer free unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi, and filtered drinking water. We have a plunge pool and lounge area that’s perfect for a quick dip or relaxing and reading a book, as well as a wonderful outdoor barbecue and dining space for group dinners.
Each villa has a unique view – either the incredible volcanic mountain view or the stunning tropical gardens on the property, where you will find beautiful frangipani, orchid & hibiscus flowers.
Whether you want to self-cater or enjoy eating out, you will find within walking distance shops for basic groceries, a bakery, a half dozen of the island’s best restaurants, The Rarotonga Brewery and the local Liquorland store.
