The Space

Set right on the beach in Amuri, both bungalows at Tai Marino are absolute beachfront, looking out over calm lagoon waters home to colourful fish and sea birds. Spend your mornings with fresh fruit on the veranda watching the sunrise, your afternoons in the hammock or cooling off in the swimming hole, and your evenings on the sand watching the sun go down over the water. A shared gas BBQ is available on request for an easy beachside meal, and a kayak and sun loungers are on hand whenever you feel like it.

Tai Marino is tucked away in Amuri, Aitutaki, just 5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from town, with local eateries and a bar within easy walking distance. Tina & Co., a handy local store with groceries, ready-to-go meals and a liquor store, is just 4 minutes away by scooter or car and open 24/7, which comes in useful on Sundays when most other shops and restaurants close. Resort Tava’e Restaurant and Bar is also nearby. We’d recommend renting at least a motorbike to make the most of your stay and explore the island at your own pace.
