Iro’s Beach House is a cute, compact and absolute beachfront two-bedroom home sitting directly on beautiful Titikaveka Beach on Rarotonga’s south coast. Relaxed Beachfront Living

Iro’s Beach House is a warm and welcoming home with an easy, open layout perfectly suited to a relaxed Cook Islands holiday. The open-plan kitchen and living area flows directly out onto a covered beachfront deck, putting the lagoon front and centre from the moment you step inside.

The master bedroom faces the lagoon and opens onto the deck, making it one of the nicest ways to start a morning in Rarotonga. The second bedroom features two single beds, ideal for children or extra guests. Ceiling fans and partial screening keep things comfortable throughout.

For entertainment there is a flat-screen TV and DVD player, and unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi is included for the whole stay. The kitchen is well set up for self-catering with a gas cooktop, convection microwave, fridge/freezer and everything needed for easy meals in. A washing machine and laundry tub are tucked neatly behind bi-fold doors.

The Deck, The Lawn & The Lagoon

The covered beach-facing deck is the heart of the property — complete with loungers, outdoor furniture, a BBQ and those lagoon views you came for. It’s sheltered enough to be a peaceful retreat on windier days and lively enough for a sunset dinner with friends. You’ll never want to go indoors.

Out front, the kids can run around on the huge lawn, kick a ball or head straight down to the beach. A kayak is included for guests wanting to get out on the water.

Experience Rarotonga exclusively manages both Iro’s Beach House and the neighbouring Iro’s Beach Villa — a modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa with ensuites and air-conditioning, sharing the same exceptional beachfront location. The two properties sit side by side and can be combined for larger groups or extended families wanting to make the most of one of Rarotonga’s best addresses.

Bedrooms (2) One queen bed in the master bedroom (lagoon-facing), two single beds in the second bedroom. Extra bedding available.

Titikaveka & South Coast Location

Iro’s Beach House sits directly on Titikaveka Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on Rarotonga’s south coast. The area is known for its relaxed atmosphere, crystal-clear lagoon and easy access to many local favourites.

Nearby you will find Fruits of Rarotonga, one of the island’s most popular snorkelling beaches, and Charlie’s Café & Beach Hire for casual beachfront dining. Guests also enjoy visiting Maire Nui Gardens & Café, dining at Moana Sands Restaurant or Little Polynesian Resort, and stopping at roadside fruit stalls for fresh tropical produce. For groceries and everyday supplies, Wigmore’s SuperStore in Vaima’anga is conveniently close by.

Tariff

NZ$320 per night for 1–2 guests Minimum stay: 5 nights

Additional guests:

  • Adults – NZ$40 per person per night
  • Children (2–11 years) – NZ$20 per person per night
  • Children under 2 years – no charge

Maximum occupancy: 4 guests.

Rates are inclusive of local taxes and exclude airport transfers. Experience Rarotonga can assist with airport transfers and on-island transport bookings at great rates if required.

  1. We stayed here last Xmas – absolutely loved it. We’ve been to Raro over 20 times and our stay here was by far the best. Private, the best beach on the island and just all round perfection! We booked via Jenny and from booking to flying, can not fault it. We highly recommend booking via Jenny and also the property is top notch!

  2. We had the most amazing time staying here a few weeks ago. We were on a girls trip and we found this accommodation was perfect for us. Everything you need even a blender for the cocktails. The beach is just gorgeous and it really is what it looks like on the website. Low tide is not so good for swimming but you just have to walk a few metres down the beach to find a good spot. Snorkling is great right outside the house too. Would definitely recommend to anyone. I would stay here with my family again but unfortunately doesn’t sleep 5. Jenny was amazing to do with. Thank you!

  5. Perfect for our family of four. The best thing was being right on the beach and waking up to the sound of the waves. When the tide is in, it’s only a few steps to the water from the desk. House itself was ideal for our family with everything we could have needed for our stay. Shower was great – hot and a good pressure, decent size fridge with small freezer. Huge washing machine as well. Definitely staying there again.
